The College of Justice and Safety at Eastern Kentucky University has 43 full-time faculty members, 42 part-time instructors, and approximately 225 staff members which includes individuals from EKU’s two research facilities. All of these hard-working professionals are dedicated to supporting students in their educational endeavors.

Chelsea Adkins, Facilitator
Chelsea Adkins is a native of Richmond, Kentucky and a two-time graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. During her career, she has gained experience teaching online courses such as Emergency Planning, Emergency Management, and Terrorism & Homeland Security.Daniel Ashworth, Facilitator

Michael Shane LaCount is the Assistant Fire Chief of Training, Safety and Risk Management where he coordinates department training activities and assists the risk management division in instruction and coordination of town wide safety programs for the Town of Mooresville, North Carolina.Thomas May, Facilitator
