FSE 400 – Advanced Emergency Services
During the Advanced Emergency Service Administration course, students will study the key managerial issues confronting contemporary fire service managers and develop an organizational plan for different types of fire departments. Fire service communication systems will be analyzed and students will recommend appropriate modifications. A distribution system for apparatus, equipment and manpower will be developed. Budgeting options will be explored including funding sources. Personnel selection, coverage and response, and fire service in the political structure will also be discussed. (Prerequisite courses: FSE 320 and 300)
