HLS 810 – Critical Infrastructure Protection

Historical perspective of how various critical infrastructures have evolved and the quantitative approaches commonly used to evaluate them. Students will learn how to apply quantitative vulnerability analysis to a variety of infrastructure sectors and also how best to allocate limited funding to minimize overall risk. The course will attempt to answer the question “what should be protected, and how?”
