There are Many Financial Aid Options Available to Help You Achieve Your Goals of Educational Advancement.
FINANCIAL AID
At EKU, we strive to help students secure the maximum amount of financial assistance available, including state and district grants as well as loans. We feel that any individual who has the desire to continue their education should have the financial means available to help them do so.
As an Eastern Kentucky University student, you may be eligible for state and/or federal student aid in the form of grants, scholarships, and educational loans. There is no cost to apply for financial assistance, and you may qualify for a student loan regardless of your income.
For eligibility, you must generally meet the following criteria:
- Be accepted into Eastern Kentucky University as a degree-seeking student
- Be enrolled at least half-time (6 semester hours)
- Be a United States citizen, national, or permanent resident alien
- Not be in default on prior student loans
- Not owe a repayment or overpayment for a federal grant
