FSE 230 – Fire Prevention Organization & Management
Students in the Fire Prevention, Organization and Management course will examine the factors that shape fire risk and the tools for fire prevention, including risk reduction education, codes and standards, inspection and plans review, fire investigation, research, master planning, influences, and strategies. In addition the course will cover the roll of the fire prevention professional in reducing risk and managing fire prevention programs to ensure public safety. Students will develop an understanding of the changing role of fire prevention professionals in the future. (Prerequisite course: FSE 101)
