James F. Trusley, Facilitator

James F. Trusley, CSP is an Environmental Health and Safety Manager with Jim Beam Brands Co. in Frankfort, KY and has worked in the Environmental Health Safety and Security field for 14 years. James holds a Master of Science in Loss Prevention and Safety from Eastern Kentucky University and holds the Certified Safety Professional designation through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). He became an instructor in 2006 teaching FSE 362 Principles of Occupational Safety & Health Legislation and FSE 367 Human Factors in Occupational Safety and is now an online-facilitator in the SSEM Masters program. In his current position with Jim Beam Brands Co, he is responsible for ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Management systems, hazard risk identification and mitigation, workers compensation, occupational safety, security, fire protection and environmental testing and compliance: operating a Waste Water Treatment Facility. He has responsibility for 280 employees, comprised of management and 3 separate Labor Unions. In his spare time, James enjoys coaching youth sports, camping, and fishing in the flats of Florida.
