Katherine Trent, Facilitator
Katherine Trent is a Project Specialist for the Justice and Safety Center at Eastern Kentucky University. She has both on-line facilitator and instructor experience in the Safety, Security and Emergency Management field.
During her graduate studies within the College of Justice and Safety she assisted with several sessions of the APS 395 (Introduction to Homeland Security) on-line class. Having graduated with a Master’s degree in Safety, Security and Emergency Management, she became an instructor for the APS 395 on-line class as part time faculty as well as an on-line facilitator in the spring semester of 2008.
Professional experience includes occupational safety in the private sector as a Safety and Environmental Coordinator’s Assistant. She supported numerous international projects with Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Romania, and Germany. Katherine is fluent in Russian and English.
