Earn the Same Master’s Degree as Our On-Campus Students Conveniently From a Distance.
ONLINE LEARNING
Many of our prospective students have asked us if online learning is the right learning method for them. Online education works much the same as the traditional on-campus education that so many of us are used to. It is modeled to be of the greatest quality but is also flexible and convenient for you. As was the case when you attended school in the past, you will receive physical textbooks to read and study from. You will also have lectures that you can watch online as many times as you desire and will be provided a detailed syllabus that will outline each week’s studies. Through the convenience of technology you receive homework assignments and exams that you will take and submit online.
Should questions ever arise, you can rest easy knowing that assistance is just a phone call away. You can contact technical support, your professional Facilitator, your Program Manager and other students in the program. Our brand of online learning is designed with you, the working professional in mind. We understand that you already lead a busy life and may think that you do not have the time to continue your education. At EKU, we provide unprecedented levels of support to make earning your advanced degree a reality. Take a look at “A Week in the Life of a Student,” to see how our students are able to budget their time effectively.
Students who graduate from the Eastern Kentucky University online Safety, Security & Emergency Management program receive the same prestigious degree as students attending the on-campus program. The diploma that you receive will not distinguish that you were a distance education student with the online Safety, Security & Emergency Management program or whether you attended on-campus. Prospective students can take confidence in our University’s notable reputation in this field and be proud of the degree that they earn whether they learn on-campus or online from a distance. The graduation and degree are the same, in fact, you should plan to attend graduation ceremonies to celebrate your accomplishment with other EKU graduates.
