Michael Shane LaCount
Michael Shane LaCount is an adjunct professor and Program Director in the Fire and Safety Engineering Technology program at Eastern Kentucky University. Shane holds a M.S. in Loss Prevention & Safety from Eastern Kentucky University. He is a Certified Fire, Arson and Explosive Investigation Instructor and Investigator, and former Co-Chair of the Annual EKU Rescue School. Shane is currently an Assistant Chief for the Mooresville, N.C. fire department.
