SSE 861- Labor & Employment Issues for Safety Professionals

The assessment and analysis of labor and employment issues which can impact the safety and health function in companies or organizations. This course will identify and analyze labor, management and safety related laws and regulations impacting the safety function, including but not limited to At Will employment doctrine, National Labor Relations Act and correlating labor laws, privacy laws and unfair labor practices. This course will also review and analyze new and pending legislation which may impact the safety and health function.
