Tim Matthews

Director, Office of Distance Education & Multimedia Services

Tim Matthews is currently the Director of Distance Education for the College of Justice and Safety. He provides assistance to stakeholders in maximizing the benefits of distance education; fosters relationships with the key EKU administrative units (e.g., admissions, registration) that facilitates effective service delivery for students and faculty; develops policies and procedures that guide the delivery of services; helps establishing the College’s infrastructure that supports student and faculty services for distance education programs; promotes distance education opportunities internally within the College and externally to potential students.

Tim has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina.
