Bio:
Dr. Chad Foster’s career prior to joining higher education involved homeland security and emergency management research and policy analysis, and the development and implementation of training and technical assistance programs. His experience includes the implementation of various preparedness programs in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and for the benefit of safety, security and emergency management professionals nationwide. Dr. Foster has authored a variety of government publications and reports in direct support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and FEMA.
Dr. Foster served in a variety of leadership positions in the U.S. Army, which included two overseas peacekeeping operations. He earned a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and graduate-level degrees in public administration and urban and public affairs from the University of Louisville.
