Bio:
Dr. Earl Blair is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and holds a BS in Psychology from Asbury College, an MS in Safety Management from West Virginia University, and an Ed.D. in Vocational Education from the University of Kentucky. Prior to coming to EKU, Blair was the program director for the graduate program in safety management and an award-winning professor at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Dr. Blair has 20 years teaching experience. In addition to his academic appointments, he worked for 15 years as a safety professional in industry and as a consultant and trainer with Safety Performance Solutions, a consulting firm in Blacksburg, VA. During his academic career Blair has served as department chair for Safety, Health & Environmental Health Science at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, and as the firector for the Heartland (OSHA) Outreach Education Center at Indiana University.
