Bio:
Dr. Frank P. Kubala Jr. has been an adjunct professor for the College of Justice & Safety for the past 12 years teaching a variety of topics at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida International University in Criminal Justice, a Master of Science from Eastern Kentucky University in Safety, Security and Emergency Management, and a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies from Eastern Kentucky University.
Dr. Kubala has more than 29 years of law enforcement experience in patrol functions, investigative processes, training, critical incident tactics, event security planning, physical fitness/self-defense and leadership. He is the assistant director of training operations for the Department of Criminal Justice Training. Dr. Kubala has extensive knowledge in the area of Homeland Security and its various missions including critical infrastructure, intelligence, emergency management and the National Incident Management System.
