Bio:
Dr. Rose Skepple is known for her work in science education, diversity, instructional equity, cultural competency, assessment and teacher leadership. She has provided staff development and workshops for a number of schools, districts and universities.
Dr. Skepple received her bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees from Eastern Kentucky University. She was the director of student teaching and assistant director of teacher education services prior to joining the faculty in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at EKU.
In 2013, Dr. Skepple was nominated for the Dr. John Mulcahy Research Award by the Association for the Advancement of Education Research. She is an assistant professor in the College of Education at Eastern Kentucky University. She teaches courses in the areas of student personnel services in higher education, educational specialists and teacher leadership. She is also the president and owner of LEED Consulting Co.
